A fast “to go” lunch, doesn’t have to be a boring lunch! It’s easy to tell yourself it’s too hard, will take too long, you can just buy something out. But, why spend the money, and eat food that doesn’t make us feel good, when it’s so quick and simple to make something delicious?
One package of “thin breakfast steaks” from Sprouts, some romaine, some nice fresh tomatoes, and a bit of bleu cheese dressing made up a protein packed, low carb, gluten free fabulously filling lunch ready in less than 10 minutes!
I salted both sides of my steak with Trader Joes pink Himalayan sea salt, and my favorite Frontier Mexican Fiesta seasoning, threw it on the cast iron grill pan, chopped some romaine, sliced some garden fresh tomatoes, and added a tablespoon of my favorite bleu cheese dressing. I sliced the steak thin, let it cool, topped my salad with it, and off we went!
Cheaper, tastier, and healthier than anything I could have bought for my day at the zoo with the boys!
