Like Trader Joe’s Soyaki? Me too! But, I can’t eat it now. And, neither can my gluten free husband! No problem!
1/4 rice wine vinegar
1/4 gluten free soy sauce/tamari
tablespoon of sesame oil
teaspoon of honey
splash of sriracha if you like a little spice
whisk it up and marinate!
Like it sweeter, add more honey*! Tangier – more vinegar. Play with this, make it yours. It’s a great marinade and works well on the grill. We marinated bone in chicken breasts, and chicken leg quarters and let them sit all morning. In the last couple of minutes I sprinkled on some toasted sesame seeds – and – perfection!
Served it with baked yam with butter, sea salt, and green onions, and some slices of watermelon. Perfect end of day, after swimming, Saturday dinner!
